Thank you, Michael Hyatt!

My professional training is in biblical languages and exegesis, hence this blog. But more and more I realize that I need help in getting my ideas out there for people to see, read, and process. My hunch is this is the case for most anyone who is in ministry. We have good things to say, but we need lots of help in creating an environment where our ideas are heard and appreciated.

Enter Michael Hyatt.

Michael Hyatt is the former chairman and CEO of Thomas Nelson, one of the biggest publishers in the world. He presently makes his living communicating on issues related to personal development, leadership, productivity, platform, and publishing. A good friend recently introduced me to his eponymous blog, a wealth of information for those who are interested in the mechanics of publishing and getting a message heard. His book Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World is a New York Times bestseller, an omnibus toolkit on what to do to gain and keep a hearing.

Those who are crafting a biblical message must also learn how to develop a platform for that message. Michael Hyatt is a great help in that process.
